Creating value for Nebraska’s career education system

CTE Standards and Courses

The Nebraska Department of Education and Partnerships for Innovation in cooperation with business and industry and Nebraska postsecondary institutions revised the course standards, benchmarks and performance indicators for Career Technical Education (CTE) courses in Nebraska schools. As a part of the revision process, the appropriate sequence of courses to be included in State Model Programs of Study for Nebraska CTE was also developed. The CTE course standards and benchmarks have been crosswalked with the Nebraska Academic Standards and the National Common Core Standards and are referenced in the CTE courses. Click on the Career Field below for the courses, programs of study and standards. Please note, all courses have migrated to the Nebraska Dept. of Education Career Education website.
